Just want to wish everybody a Happy New Year and hope everyone has a safe & enjoyable year! It's been a great year for me, and despite the fact I've been extremely inactive, I hope I can get this community alive sooner rather than later. So thanks for being you <3

This year, my New Year's resolution is to RELEASE some Deltora Quest stuff to you guys, aha!

XD Oh, it's a bit of shame, when you think about it. .m.; I'm not sure whether it's because Deltora Quest is past its prime,
or whether it wasn't popular enough to begin with... >o>;; I see some 'guests' from time to time, but it would be fabulous if there was more
action going on! Especially considering all the work you've put into it.

There's something special about Deltora Quest that I can't put my finger on. Whether it's the fact that the author is Australian, a particular
character I adore, or the little nuggets of intrigue within the series. It needs more love!

Given the sparsity of the forums and that this is one of the most recent areas of activity, I thought this was the best place to post.

I absolutely love the work being done here.  I remember loving these books way back when and was super excited to learn an anime existed of them.  Less than completely pleased with the dub, I searched really hard for subs and yours were the only ones I could find at all.

I flew through 21 episodes in less than 48 hours (pure coincidence that I stopped just when the videos ran dry).  Anyway, thanks for the videos and I will patiently await episode 22 to appear for me to pick up again.

Hello I have to say that you r my hero. I love Deltora Quest it was the first anime i ever watched.
Lets just say i was the one that bought all of the books then watched the Japanese version trying ever so hard to understand what was going on :)
I was so happy to find out that they made a dub only to get my hopes crushed they changed the music and the acting was mediocre. Ive watched the only subbed episodes so many times
 but anyways thank you and I will get as many of my friends to visit :). Deltora Quest is special and should be treated so :)

Hello everyone! The show is rad.. so I thought the fandom would be rad too.. and IT IS! You guys all seem so awesome and I'm so psyched for more subbed episodes! Unfortunately I'm the busiest I've ever been in my whole life. School work is just insane right now :/

Episode 23 hasn't really changed in over a year, which is a shame because there isn't that much more to work on. It's just doing subs isn't how I like to spend my very limited spare time, so I guess I'll finish it off when I find the time.

I'm just posting here because it's the most recent post on the site so hopefully someone will see it. It's nice to know there are still people out there appreciating Deltora Quest, and the anime! I've been looking everywhere for somewhere to download the subbed version. I came here from the youtube channel, which has up to episode 22. Have the rest of them being subbed? Is it still happening? I'm very disappointed that the show wasn't more popular, and especially disappointed by the English dub, it's awful. I had hopped some legitimate streaming sites would pick it up and stream a subbed version. But I'm just glad someone has taken the time to sub it!

Yep, the dub is pretty terrible haha. I'm still insanely busy, but I'll try and get 23 on YouTube sometime soon. :)

What's the process like for doing subs; are you Japanese yourself, or perhaps learnt it? Pretty impressive that you're able to do this much on your own.

To be honest I'd probably just buy the Japanese DVDs and watch it raw without subs, except that they charge a fortune - I think it ended up being several hundred dollars to get the whole DQ anime. On that note, how are you getting your raws? I had a quick look and wasn't able to find any - most places that say they have the Japanese version are actually just hosting the dub, it's incredibly annoying.

[edit] I just saw your post about the subbing process where you mentioned DVD's but I'm still dumbfounded that you actually have the DVD's to even rip from. Is there any chance you'll upload the subbed episodes somewhere in original mkv format (or the raws for that matter)? I would assume the episodes you've uploaded to YouTube are compressed to make them reasonable for upload/playback and I believe you originally had them in 720p not 480p?
